Welcome Dr. Cherish Taylor to the Conte Center!
It is our pleasure to introduce Dr. Cherish Taylor, who joins the Conte Center after graduate studies at University of Texas, Austin under the mentorship of Dr. Somshuvra Mukhopadhyay. Dr. Taylor will lead our efforts on developing mouse models for human C4 overexpression and chronic early life stress due to social isolation. She will then characterize the effect of these different schizophrenia risk factors on microglial synaptic pruning and animal learning and behavior. We look forward to the wonderful work she will perform.
